Derbyshire based Steve Foster Cranes are a family run business, established as a mobile crane hire operator since 1977.
Steve Foster Cranes have a modern well maintained mobile crane fleet of mobile cranes with capacities from 7 to 220 tonnes, which are available for hire either under CPA Crane Hire terms and conditions or as a fully managed CPA Contract Lift.
The company also offer HGV transport with vehicles including Lorry loaders, Rigid and Articulated Lorries up to STGO CAT3, including semi-low, flat, extendable and Euroliner trailers.
Steve Foster Cranes also able to offer on-site Machinery Moving, and their own dedicated covered and external Storage areas to meet all lifting, moving and storage requirements.

Installation of a vehicle tracking system with live maps and custom icons to enable easy identification of vehicle types. Geofencing alerts specific to vehicle type and geography with additional speeding alerts and reports to support their fleet managers.
The GPS tracking system has enabled the team at Steve Foster Cranes to free up enough time in the day to complete extra jobs. Financial savings have not only been achieved through increased productivity, but also by reducing the amount of fuel consumed.
The use of driving style reports to look for patterns of harsh acceleration and braking and highlight any areas for improvement have enabled their fleet managers to coach their drivers to adopt more economical driving behaviour.
